The distilleries and rum factories unveil their great appellations by opening their doors to the public. This is a visit not to be missed, a journey through time where we discover the ancestral manufacturing techniques still used. You can visit some of the factories during the production period, walk between the facilities, taste the different rums, shop… For a total immersion in the history of agricultural rum, make a stop at the Rum Museum in Sainte-Marie.
From north to south and from east to west, rum factories are very well distributed throughout the island. Not all of them distill on site, but you can still visit the houses, gardens, stores and immerse yourself in their unique history.
