    The Centre de Découverte des Sciences et de la Terre (Science and Earth Discovery Center) offers a whole series of new discoveries: go behind the scenes of a weather station, follow the course of an artificial river to understand the water cycle, walk through a tropical thematic garden, learn about the latest earthquake-resistant construction techniques by accessing the building's foundations. Its realization called on the most elaborate methods of earthquake engineering. The building is separated from its supporting system by hooped neoprene seismic supports visible in the staircase of the shaft.

    A permanent exhibition program:
    Martinique from the sky: 36m² aerial map to discover Martinique from the IGN pictures
    La Pelée from the sky: aerial photographs of Mount Pelée
    The mineralogical gallery: rocks, fossils of Martinique and the world
    Murderous volcanoes: the phases and eruptions of Mount Pelée since its origin

    General public events for all tastes :
    Astronomy: courses in collaboration with the CDSA (Centre de Documentation Spécialisé en Astronomie) once a month, from October to June to understand what is happening in the sky.
    Conferences and concerts: various events are offered throughout the year, such as the Night of the Stars, Biguine Jazz, Tales and Music in the City, Fair Trade Day, etc...
    Special school activities: exhibitions, screening of the Kes Kon Risk series (short films on risks in the West Indies).
