The Centre de Découverte des Sciences et de la Terre (Science and Earth Discovery Center) offers a whole series of new discoveries: go behind the scenes of a weather station, follow the course of an artificial river to understand the water cycle, walk through a tropical thematic garden, learn about the latest earthquake-resistant construction techniques by accessing the building's foundations. Its realization called on the most elaborate methods of earthquake engineering. The building is separated from its supporting system by hooped neoprene seismic supports visible in the staircase of the shaft.
