Restaurant L'Escale
Restaurant, Bar, Creole cuisine, World cuisine, French food
in Les Anses-d'Arlet

The L'Escale restaurant, just a stone's throw from the Grande Anse d'Arlet beach on the way to Anses d'Arlet, is a must-visit address. Although it's not directly on the beach, the quality of the food and service is well worth the diversions.

Thanks to the experience of this trio, they have developed a refined bistronomic cuisine, fusing the hallmarks of French cuisine with local Martinique produce. The deliberately small menu is a guarantee of quality, with 100% fresh produce. They favour short circuits, working with local fishermen, market gardeners and producers.
The menu, which changes with the seasons, offers 3 tapas to enjoy with Sophie's cocktails, as well as 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts.
The dishes are perfectly cooked, generous, balanced and tasty. Highlights include the perfect egg with hollandaise sauce and bread croutons, sea bream with creamy carrots, roasted vegetables and white wine sauce, and creamy chocolate with cocoa crumble and fleur de sel.
L'Escale offers starter-main course-dessert menus at €44, and starter-main course or main course-dessert menus at €37. (2024)
We've fallen head over heels for this restaurant - we love it!
