    Located in Sainte-Marie, within the Habitation Limbé, a former 18ᵉ century sugar mill, the Musée de la Banane invites you to immerse yourself in tropical nature and historical heritage.

    A 2-hectare banana plantation and tropical garden to explore
    A walk through the garden at the Musée de la Banane is an experience in itself. You'll discover more than 64 varieties of banana trees with surprising names: Kankanbou, Makandja, Gross Famm, Figue Rose, Benedetta, Pisang Lilin... as well as many tropical species: coffee trees, cocoa trees, breadfruit trees, alpinias, porcelain roses, heliconias pendula and pineapples.
