Fancy a pizza night in Martinique, prepared in your own home and served piping hot to your guests? With Mklpizza, Mike transforms your home, your venue or your corporate event into a genuine Neapolitan pizzeria.
His concept: artisanal pizzas, hand-shaped, cooked on the spot and served all you can eat, with a Creole twist that makes you want to tuck in straight away. Whether it’s a weekday evening, a weekend with friends, a birthday, a wedding or a corporate event, it’s the ideal solution to treat everyone without having to worry about the cooking.
Mklpizza offers a pizza experience centred around live cooking in your own home. Before the event, Mike presents you with a menu of around 15 creations, from which you usually choose 5 or 6 recipes based on your preferences, the style of your event and your guests’ tastes.
On the day, he takes care of everything: handmade dough, freshly prepared toppings, cooking, serving and creating a gourmet atmosphere. The package is simple and generous: around €35 per person, with as many pizzas as everyone wishes to enjoy during the event.
What sets it apart is Mike’s background. A trained chef, he conceives his pizzas as proper dishes. The ingredients are prepared, worked and combined with precision. Each recipe has its own balance, texture, aroma and character.
Among the signature creations, La Lambis combines pepper coulis, smoked conch, mozzarella and pesto for a pizza with a distinct local flavour. La Bœuf combines carrot cream, caramelised onions, mozzarella, bresaola and stracciatella, whilst La 4 Fromages & Truffe blends truffle cream, mozzarella, gorgonzola, pecorino, parmesan and honey. For those who prefer a spicier kick, La Picante combines a vegetarian chilli sauce, spicy spianata, provolone and ricotta.
The flavours of the sea and Caribbean influences also feature prominently with ‘Poisson Fumé’, made with broccoli cream, smoked fish, mozzarella and pine nuts, or ‘La Chatrou’, which combines purple cauliflower cream, grilled chatrou and mozzarella. On the meat side, the Poulet pizza delights with mushroom cream, smoked chicken, provolone and sun-dried tomatoes. La Coppa plays on the sweetness of sweet potato, mozzarella, coppa and cherry tomatoes marinated in basil.
Mklpizza also offers more classic recipes, always carefully reimagined: La Regina with tomato and basil sauce, mozzarella, herb-crusted ham, mushrooms and Parmesan; La Carbonara with mozzarella, guanciale, egg yolk and Parmesan; or La Jambon Cru, combining sweet potato cream, mozzarella, cured ham, Gorgonzola and roasted walnuts. A vegetarian option is also available, featuring pesto, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, thyme-infused ricotta and cashew nuts.
The service caters for small groups as well as large gatherings. Weddings, birthdays, private events, corporate functions or community events: Mike can cater for up to 300 people.
