    A little history :
The creation of the Marin Marina dates back to 1985, an initiative taken by the municipality of Le Marin which, aware of the region's maritime potential, decided to enhance its natural heritage by building a marina and careening centre. The project took shape in the early 90s, under the impetus of Mayor Rodolphe DESIRE and Frantz JEAN-JOSEPH, under the name Société Antillaise d'Exploitation de Port de Plaisance.

Initially comprising 160 berths and surrounded by around twenty specialist companies, the port has grown over the years. In 2000, five new pontoons were added, including one capable of accommodating large yachts. In 2010, a new 4,500 m² shopping area was inaugurated, marking a key stage in the development of this leading port infrastructure in the Lesser Antilles.
