  • It is one of the most remote and smallest islets in Robert Bay with the Loup-Garou and Petit Piton islets.

  • It is 25 metres above sea level. It is a real bird paradise. The islet is known as a strong Caribbean bird sanctuary: Roseate Tern (Dougallii Tern), Bridled Tern (Sterna anaethetus), Robin Sporophile (Loxigilla noctis).

    Boisseau islet is home to a lizard endemic to Martinique (protected species).
    There is also the Maclura tinctoria country mulberry, a rare, threatened and protected plant species.
