Fusion Caraïbes Rums in 2026 • Rhum Blanc Prestige de Jarre, at 42.2% ABV, rests in a stoneware jar. This allows the rum to evolve without taking on the woody notes normally imparted by a barrel. • Rhum Blanc Prestige de Jarre Bio, at 49.9% ABV, is made from certified organic sugar cane and undergoes the same maturation process. • Rhum Vieux Agricole VO, at 48.8% ABV, is aged for at least three years in French and American oak casks. • Rhum Vieux Agricole VSOP US, also at 48.8% ABV, is aged in former Bourbon barrels and new American oak casks, known as virgin barrels. • Finally, Rhum Vieux Agricole VSOP FR, at 52.2% ABV, spends four years in new French oak and former Cognac casks. A Maturation Method Combining Stoneware and Oak The stoneware jar plays a central role in the identity of Fusion Caraïbes white rums. The rum rests in the jar for one year, gradually becoming rounder while preserving the character of the sugar cane and developing a more mineral quality. For the aged rums, the aromatic profile varies according to the type of cask used: new American oak, former Bourbon barrels or French oak ex-Cognac casks.
