    A beautiful walk to discover the monuments and ruins of Saint-Pierre, located at the foot of Mount Pelée.

  • From Place Bertin (1), walk along the car park to the south, pass behind the Exchange House (2) and turn left, following Gabriel Péri street for 200 metres.

    After the station, go up Victor Hugo street (3), turn right into Orange street (4), and left again into Sainte-Rose street (5). You will pass the ruins of the Colonial Lycée (6), go straight on and turn left into Alfred Lacroix street (7), you will see the Louis-Ernoult park (8) on your right.

    Turn right into Victor Hugo street and...
    From Place Bertin (1), walk along the car park to the south, pass behind the Exchange House (2) and turn left, following Gabriel Péri street for 200 metres.

    After the station, go up Victor Hugo street (3), turn right into Orange street (4), and left again into Sainte-Rose street (5). You will pass the ruins of the Colonial Lycée (6), go straight on and turn left into Alfred Lacroix street (7), you will see the Louis-Ernoult park (8) on your right.

    Turn right into Victor Hugo street and pass the Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Port Cathedral (9). Take Dupuy, Percée and Damas streets, turn left on Gouverneur Ponton street and then right on Caylus street; pass in front of the Saint-Pierre town hall (10). Turn left into Petit-Versailles street, right into Saint-Jean-de-Dieu street, left into Pesset street, right into Victor-Hugo street where the Memorial of the 1902 disaster is located (11).

    Continue to the ruins of the Ancient Theatre (12) and the Cyparis Dungeon (13). Continue, cross the Roxelane and turn right into rue Quay Peynier. Continue to the right, in Levassor street, until the ruins of the Colonial Health House (14) and the Engineering Office (15). Go back down Levassor street.

    Turn right onto Monte-au-ciel street. Continue along Bons-Enfants street, turn right into Eglise street; cross the ruins of the Church of the Fort (17). Via Fort street, turn right into Esnanbuc square (18) and cross the river. Go straight on, past the ruins of the Fig Tree (19) and along the sea to the Bertin square (1).
