The Anses d'Arlet church, built at the end of the 18th century, was burnt down in 1762 by the English.

Rehabilitated in 1767, it was repeatedly damaged by cyclones. The one of 1817 devastated her.
A bell tower and a front building were built in 1856, and the sacristy was built in 1874. The church was completely rebuilt in 1882, consecrated the same year, and a lightning rod was added in 1885. Around 1931, the building was dilapidated and a bell collapsed.

He also undertook to repair the joints of the metal belfry, which no longer fitted, and the roof of the boom, which had holes. The works were carried out and in 1956 the municipality rebuilt the shell of the extension of the church and the bell tower.
An interior and exterior restoration of the building was carried out in 2010: its facade and bell tower were once again transformed and restored to their pre-1956 appearance.
