The François islets are one of the most beautiful coastal sites in Martinique. Their turquoise waters, white sandy seabeds and islets make them an unmissable destination for a day out at sea. La Balade du Soleil offers half-day trips aboard the Rafale, a motorboat easily recognisable by its red and white colours.
Half-day trips in the morning and afternoon
The excursions take place in the morning or afternoon. Departures are from the fishing port of Le François. Each trip is limited to a maximum of 12 people, ensuring an intimate atmosphere away from large groups for a truly unique experience.
Places visited during the excursion
- La Baignoire de Joséphine, Martinique’s most famous white sandbank, where you can walk in shallow, crystal-clear waters
- Rum tasting
- Chancel Islet: Ruins of an old sugar mill and endemic iguanas
- Îlet Madame, a gentle and peaceful stopover
- Trapèze des Fonds Blancs, a spot of white sand with translucent water.
