La Balade du Soleil: boat trip to the islets of Martinique – Half-day trip departing from Le François harbour The François islets are one of the most beautiful coastal sites in Martinique. Their turquoise waters, white sandy seabeds and islets make them an unmissable destination for a day out at sea. La Balade du Soleil offers half-day trips aboard the Rafale, a motorboat easily recognisable by its red and white colours.

Half-day trips in the morning and afternoon The excursions take place in the morning or afternoon. Departures are from Le François fishing harbour. Each trip is limited to a maximum of 12 people, ensuring an intimate atmosphere away from large groups for a truly unique experience.

Places visited on the excursion – La Baignoire de Joséphine, Martinique’s most famous white sandy seabed, where you can walk in shallow, crystal-clear waters – Rum tasting – Chancel Islet: the remains of an old sugar mill and endemic iguanas – Îlet Madame, a gentle and peaceful stop-off – The ‘Fonds Blancs du Trapèze’, a spot of white sand with translucent water

On board with Jean-Marc Jean-Marc guides every trip with a sense of humour, sharing the history of the islets, their legends and his knowledge. He is one of the best guides in the area. Local drinks and tastings on board are included in the package.
