The Hiking and Canyoning Office organises guided excursions along rivers and through tropical forests, in the heart of Martinique’s natural landscape. Led by Guy and Sophie, state-certified mountain guides with over 29 years’ experience, you’ll enjoy a safe, friendly activity tailored to your ability. Their approach is based on teaching, local knowledge and respect for the natural environment.

Canyoning trips offer a different way to explore the tropical environment, combining an approach walk, water crossings, waterfalls, abseils, jumps, natural slides and stops to take in the scenery.

The routes are chosen according to the group’s ability, the weather and safety conditions.

Technical equipment is provided: neoprene wetsuit, harness and helmet. Please bring: swimwear, a T-shirt, socks, trainers, a towel, a change of clothes, water and a small snack.

Tours are organised in small groups of 4 to 8 people, for those aged 10 and over. They are suitable for both beginners and those looking for a more challenging activity, always under professional supervision.

2026 price: €65 per person

The Hiking and Canyoning Office also offers walking tours from the north to the south of the island: – Montagne Pelée – Trace des Caps – Rabuchon Forest – Caravelle Peninsula – Beauregard Canal – Prêcheur / Grand-Rivière, and other routes depending on the season and the group’s ability.
