Aqua XS dolphin-watching trip in Fort-de-France: the Caribbean coast and snorkelling Setting off from the Étang Z’Abricots marina, Aqua XS offers a motorboat excursion along the Caribbean coast of Martinique. Led by Xavier, this sea trip combines dolphin spotting, cruising along the leeward coast, exploring the bat cave and a swim stop at Fond Boucher.

Dolphin watching in Martinique After leaving the bay of Fort-de-France, the boat heads out to sea, into the waters of the Agoa Sanctuary. Xavier looks out for signs that might help spot the cetaceans: blowholes, fins, movements on the surface or unusual behaviour among seabirds. The dolphins swim freely. Every encounter is different. The dolphins may be spotted in the distance, swimming close to the boat or playing in the waves. Cruising along the leeward coast The journey continues along the Caribbean coast, past hills, cliffs, coves and fishing villages. Xavier provides commentary on the landscapes and sights visible from the sea. The excursion offers a different perspective on the north of Martinique. The boat approaches the bat cave nestled in a cliff; this cavity can only be seen from the sea. Snorkelling at Fond Boucher The trip includes a stop for swimming and underwater exploration. Fond Boucher is popular for its sheltered waters and the diversity of its seabed. Equipped with a mask and snorkel, participants can observe tropical fish, sponges, rocks and corals. Sea turtles may also be spotted. A relaxed outing with local tastings Aqua XS favours small groups. A light snack or tasting of local produce is on offer. This provides an opportunity to relax after a swim and to continue exploring Martinique through its flavours. Full day From 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, including lunch: €110 per adult and €70 per child (lunch option at a restaurant: €130 per adult and €80 per child (under 12s).
