Thanks to Daniel Baudin, Cellar Master since 1991, the rums of southern Martinique – particularly those from Trois-Rivières and Maison La Mauny – benefit from his expertise, his meticulousness, his discerning nose and his creativity. His career and expertise were recognised at the International Rum Conference (IRC) in Miami on 26 September 2019: he was voted the world’s best rum cellar master!
Throughout the year, the Trois Rivières distillery organises immersive events centred on agricultural rum: cocktail masterclasses, fun workshops and rum-and-chocolate pairing sessions in partnership with the artisanal chocolate maker K’Féco… Find all the dates and practical information inthe Martinique Tour calendar.
In the park, several shops – some of which are tucked away inside huge casks – will introduce you to local crafts. You can also head to Planète Quad to explore the sugarcane plantations.
