Baie des Trésors - Tour of the Plantation House Located in Trinité, on the Atlantic coast of Martinique, Baie des Trésors is an iconic estate built on the historic grounds of the Exploitation Agricole du Galion, cultivated since 1849. This unique place embodies a deep connection between the land, people and rum, in a preserved natural environment steeped in history and memory.

The guided tour (booking required) The guided tour offers an immersive experience into the history of Habitation Baie des Trésors. Accompanied by a guide, visitors explore the house, the gardens and then the world of Baie des Trésors AOC rums. Throughout the tour, the explanations are clear, fascinating and informative, highlighting the importance of the terroirs, the climate and the traditional methods that give the rums their unique character.

The tour also offers an insight into the estate’s development and the inseparable link between the land, the sugarcane and the people – the very foundation of Baie des Trésors’ identity. It concludes with a rum tasting, a convivial occasion that reveals the full expression of the 100% single-plot rums, with no additives – the house’s signature.

‘The Treasure Hunt’ A self-guided tour, “La Chasse aux Trésors”, is also available via an interactive QR code trail, allowing visitors to explore the grounds and the tasting area at their own pace.
