Description

Access: before the village of Trinité turn right towards Tartane. Follow the road to the entrance of the natural reserve. Starting point: at the end of the access road, at the barrier, turn left from the interpretation panel. The natural reserve of the Caravelle peninsula is a mecca for hiking. Namely, that dogs and drones are prohibited.
Cross the barrier and take the track towards the weather station. At the first crossing, after 20 minutes walk, turn right and go up to the headlight (1). From here the panorama is magnificent. You can enjoy the orientation table. Go down again and turn right towards the weather station (2). At the gate, take the path on the right which runs along the coast and continue towards Chandelier Cove (3) which you will reach after a little less than a two-hour walk. Continue along the cliff up to Caracoli Point (4). From the viewpoint, you can observe Le Robert bay and its islets. Continue down the coast. The path passes on the back beach and turn to the left to go on the beach of the bay of Trésor (5). This place is a real invitation to swimming, we get there after 3h30 walk. Continue along the beach, cross the small stream that feeds the marigot and take the small path to the right, it will lead you up the coast on the main path. Turn to the left, go down and continue on the path which goes around the mangrove zone. At the next crossing, turn left towards the mangrove path. Cross the footbridge and continue towards the observation kiosk (6). Go down, and turn right, then left. You're on the path back. This path will take you back to the entrance of Dubuc Castle. Climb the concrete road, it will take you back to the starting point.
