We were greeted by Joël Bidard, owner and creator of the villa. As soon as we set down our luggage, the children rushed to the pool, eager to dive into its crystal-clear waters. While they splashed about happily, the owner showed me around the different apartments.

Ours, the 70m2 ” Clair de Lune” apartment sleeps 4 (2 air-conditioned bedrooms), has a lovely swimming pool with a large terrace, a barbecue, deckchairs and various lounges for dining or lounging. It’s bright, airy and really pleasant.

Belle Étoile
The 65m2 ” Belle Étoile ” apartment is adjoining ours, and in fact the two are connected, both by the terrace and by an interior door. It can also accommodate 4 people (2 bedrooms). You can rent the whole house (“Belle étoile au Clair de lune!”) with friends or if you have a large family! On this side, there’s no swimming pool, but a Jacuzzi and a large hammock promise moments of relaxation… The kitchens are fully equipped, the bathrooms are magnificent, and the bedrooms are clean and uncluttered.

Below these two large apartments, I discover two smaller studios: ” Morph&e acute;e” and ” Les 3S d’Aphrodite “, both popular with couples for romantic getaways in total privacy. Terrace, outdoorbath or four-poster bed, garden with barbecue, bedroom with mountain view: each studio has its own particularities and charm (there’s even a pole-dancing bar in one of them!).

I’m pleasantly impressed by the quality and finish of the apartments, which are veritable cocoons. You can tell that Joël has thought of every detail. Really, bravo, the whole is well designed and harmonious!

We stroll around the estate, each part of which is isolated from the others. The 14-hectare estate is close to Le Diamant and Anses d’Arlet, with their charming villages and the most beautiful beaches in the South Caribbean!
The rest of the afternoon passed in a gentle torpor, between improvised naps and refreshing swims.

In the evening, I booked takeaway meals concocted by Joël Bidard, our host who is also an outstanding chef (catering services). As always, he has the art of delighting us with his local dishes revisited with the finest produce from his farm and garden. The night is mild, and we spend a long time on the deckchairs, chatting and looking up at the starry sky. Total relaxation!

The next day, after a hearty family breakfast, we spend a pleasant moment by the pool. There are tables and a barbecue where guests can organize picnics and share other moments of conviviality. Right next to our villa, a natural amphitheater ” Stellarium ” sometimes hosts shows, and there’s even a space dedicated to outside service providers: Yoga classes, meditation, massages… To combine business with pleasure!

The weekend has gone by so quickly, and I’m enjoying the last few moments by the pool, with the children taking their final plunges. We left happy and relaxed, with our heads full of memories and emotions. I really recommend Jo’z Le Rêve accommodation: comfortable, well thought-out and superbly located!
