Located in Carbet, a stone's throw from Saint-Pierre in the enchanting setting of Habitation Anse Latouche – the oldest on the island, founded in 1643 – Martinique Zoo is much more than just a zoo: it is a unique place where heritage, nature and biodiversity come together.

This new-generation park and remarkable garden is a true haven of tropical biodiversity, combining heritage, conservation, education and wonder in a unique historical setting.

This zoo offers an immersive and educational experience. Visitors can safely walk among fascinating species, enjoying thrilling moments up close with wildlife. Throughout your visit, you will encounter exceptional species: Caribbean flamingos, mischievous monkeys, an imposing jaguar, elegant pumas, playful lorikeets, a large anteater and playful raccoons! The enclosures meet modern zoo standards for animal welfare and have been designed to offer the animals the best possible comfort. Activities: Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, the park team offers activities at 11:45 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. These encounters allow you to interact with the animal keepers and discover iconic species up close for an unforgettable experience.
