Terre Mer (Max Baspin)

A native of Grand-Rivière, Max Baspin has been a fisherman from generation to generation, and a man of the sea since his earliest childhood. It is said that sea water runs in his veins. As a seasoned fisherman, he knows the North Caribbean coast like the back of his hand, and every cove and fishing hole holds no secrets for him.

Max invites you to discover his world aboard his traditional 7.30m yawl, which can accommodate up to 6 people. Departures are from the port of Grand-Rivière, the pontoon at Le Prêcheur or the beach at Anse Couleuvre.

Max offers a range of services :

- Discovering the coves: Take an excursion to the Albert Falco Marine Territorial Nature Reserve for a walk along the coast and the wild coves of the north Caribbean, and discover their history and beliefs. You'll reach the Rocher de la Perle where swimming and snorkelling are possible, depending on the currents. Price: €25 per person.

- Whale watching: Join Max in the morning for a unique whale-watching experience. Price: €35 per person.

- Fishing: Max will introduce you to various fishing techniques, including coarse, trolling, creel and jig fishing. All equipment and fishing tips are included, but don't forget your snacks and drinks. Price: €50 per person.

- For hikers doing the Prêcheur / Grand-Rivière walk (see "Walks" section) in either direction, Max will take you back by boat to your point of departure, either at Anse Couleuvre or the port of Grand-Rivière. Price: €15 per person.

- Max can also drop you off at one of the coves accessible only by sea and pick you up at a time to suit you.
