Sea Museum

This captivating museum, enriched by the passion and expertise of its founder, Fabien, offers a remarkable educational experience. Thanks to its educational approach, it shares invaluable knowledge about marine life.
Your journey will be punctuated by discoveries in several areas:
- The large exhibition room has been enhanced with new naturalized marine species in 2023, including giant rays, bottlenose dolphins, manatees, sharks, and in particular the jaws of the great white shark and the megalodon.
- An exceptional collection of over 4,000 shells from seas around the world
- A three-dimensional reproduction of sea turtle egg-laying and hatching.
- Educational videos on fishing practices in Martinique, highlighting traditional methods and the consumption of local species such as lambi, lobsters, sea urchins and crabs.
- An area dedicated to exploring the marine world, displaying naturalised specimens of Caribbean fauna, including sea urchins, starfish, crabs, seahorses and a variety of fish.
With or without a visit, you can buy shells, marine jewellery, decorative objects and ocean literature from the museum shop, perfect for keeping a souvenir of this marine experience.
