At this time, the church had a great affluence, especially on the occasion of pilgrimages in honour of Sainte-Anne. While it had been rebuilt in masonry in 1741, the great gale of 1813 removed its roof and forced the inhabitants to go to Basse-Pointe, the neighbouring parish.
The church was rebuilt in 1827 and subsequently underwent several repairs. However, it kept its original shape and its stone walls with imposing buttresses. The tiling was completed in 1962.
