The circular gallery around the choir, intended to increase the number of places available, was built during a period of important work (1848-1865), under the impetus of Abbot Mauclair. In 1856, the parish acquired three bells which were blessed by the diocesan bishop, Monsignor Le Herpeur, then a fourth.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the reconstruction of the bell tower was carried out by the master carpenter Léonce Bayardin. Five new bells were installed. They were sponsored by notables of the parish, who gave them first names. A major restoration of the church took place in 1933-1934, with the construction of the lateral concrete naves, the reinforcement of the framework, the repair of the steps of the square and the installation of the first stained glass windows.

Two painted panels, by Reverend Arostéguy, dating from 1955 are listed in 1994 in the additional inventory of historic monuments.
