Rhums Distillerie Depaz - la Boutique

After your visit, you can discover, taste and enjoy the range of Depaz rums in the shop.
Planted at the foot of the Montagne Pelée volcano and cradled by the trade winds of the Caribbean Sea, the cane produces rums with a unique character.

The cellar master pays particular attention to the selection of casks used for ageing Depaz old rums. These casks will offer subtle and complex woody notes, which will blend harmoniously with the typicality of the Depaz terroir.

Throughout the ageing process, the Depaz cellar master carries out numerous tastings to ensure that the Depaz rums are developing well.

The 50% vol. white rum won a gold medal at the last Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2023. The following awards were won
- Gold medal for the old rum VSOP Depaz AOC (5 years),
- Silver medal for the old rum AOC XO Grande Réserve Depaz (8 years),
- Silver medal for the old rum AOC XO Prestige Depaz (9 years),
- Silver medal for the old rum AOC Victor Depaz (3 years).
Visits to the entire site and distillery are free (only the château is subject to a €5 charge).
