  • Discover the excellence of A1710 rums when you visit the Habitation du Simon distillery. Located in an idyllic setting between Le François and Le Vauclin, this site offers spectacular views over the islets of Le François, Martinique. The colonial architecture of the main building, combined with a tropical park, provides the perfect setting for tasting our exceptional rums, a unique moment during your stay on the island.

  • The A1710 range of rums are the result of a subtle balance between ancestral distillation techniques and modern innovations, with a special mention for the unique Charentais stills in the West Indies, "La Belle Aline" and "Douce Alice".
    These installations distil A1710 agricultural white rums, enriched by a saponification process using copper, offering a distinct and refined flavour.

    An organic rum, 'La Perle Rare', as well as white rums made from pure cane juice, including 'Bête à Feu', 'Diamond Rock', 'La Perle', 'La Perle Brute' and 'Renaissance'.
    For those who appreciate a rum with woody notes, 'Cheval Bondieu' is sure to appeal.
    Each A1710 rum is hand-bottled at l'Habitation in numbered decanters, demonstrating their commitment to quality and authenticity. These vintages are available in restaurants, delicatessens and wine shops across the island.
    The site is open to visitors Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and Sunday, 9am to 12.30pm.
    Guided tours are also available for those wishing to immerse themselves in the region, and can be booked directly on our Martinique Tour website.
    - Visite Extraordinaire at 10 a.m. €12 per adult (max 10 people). Free for under-18s.

    - Maître de Chai workshop: a 3-hour visit with the Maître de Chai: €80 per adult - €15 for under-18s. Free for under-12s.

    - Extraordinary Day For an experience at the heart of the distillery from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.: €250 per adult - €100 for under-18s - Free for under-12s.
