Plage de l'Anse Latouche

Beach in Le Carbet
  • Anse Latouche beach, at Le Carbet in Martinique, is a charming little beach in the shape of an arch. Its crystal-clear waters and grey volcanic sand, lined with coconut and palm trees, make it an ideal spot for snorkellers, despite the sometimes strong currents near the rocks.

The beach is easily accessible thanks to its proximity to the main road.

Take the opportunity to visit the Habitation Latouche, just across the road - a historic site destroyed in the 1902 eruption of Montagne Pelée and now the island's only zoo.

  • Situation: Access by a small path along the Karibea Corail hotel.

    Beach type: Small

    Water: Turquoise
