Pignon sur Mer

A veritable institution of Creole cuisine since 1983, this establishment, run from father to son, is located on the edge of Anse à l'Âne beach and delights the taste buds of both regular and occasional customers (residents and tourists).

It's a small Creole restaurant just as you'd expect it to be, serving ti-punch, accras and West Indian cuisine, with the added bonus of a view over the bay of Fort de France. The welcome is warm and friendly, with good advice on the dishes. The service is simple, fast and without fuss... For regulars, it's a bit like being at home, you feel so at home. A word of advice: make sure you book ahead, especially at weekends...

In the kitchen, we prepare the dishes that have made our reputation:
- Lamb salad with lime (depending on availability)
- Lamb stew with Martinique mushroom sauce
- Fricassee of catrou
- The Must: The famous Délice du Pignon (grilled lobster, grilled crayfish and grilled lambis).
- Short fish broth
- Home-made garlic crayfish
- Grilled entrecôte with avocado butter

The aged arranged rums are delicious, and the fruit rum is a must-try...
