Created in 1944, the Martinique Women's Union is a feminist association under the 1901 law.
The MRU is a feminist association which operates on 3 axes:
- Welcome, listen and support women victims of all forms of violence
- Prevent and campaign against gender-based violence
- Advocate for a more egalitarian society.
