Departure point: Car park at the Grand Macabou reception area at Cap Beauchesne.
Access: D9 towards Cap Beauchesne, Grand Macabou.
A short walk in a sumptuous setting, an opportunity to take a short and easy ride with the family. -
From the Grand Macabou parking area, go down to the right (1) along the Way of the Cross to the chapel (2). Take the path that plunges to the left and goes to the shore before climbing up the cliff. From here, you can see the long beach of Grand Macabou and Pointe Marie-Catherine (3).
Walk forward and then turn left towards the Grand Macabou beach. The path passes over a conch cemetery, continue along the Trace des Caps path. It first runs along the beach and then goes away from it and...From the Grand Macabou parking area, go down to the right (1) along the Way of the Cross to the chapel (2). Take the path that plunges to the left and goes to the shore before climbing up the cliff. From here, you can see the long beach of Grand Macabou and Pointe Marie-Catherine (3).
Walk forward and then turn left towards the Grand Macabou beach. The path passes over a conch cemetery, continue along the Trace des Caps path. It first runs along the beach and then goes away from it and crosses the forest behind the beach.
Leave the track and take the alley lined with almond trees on the left. It runs along the Massel pond (5).
Turn left into the coastal forest (6) and follow the path. (7) Turn right for 80m before reaching the fork in the road to the car park.
