Sylvie Meissonnier, the ceramic artist, creates a tender and mischievous universe: playful characters with rosy cheeks, freckles, big laughing eyes, cheeky winks, frizzy hair… The motifs are inspired by Creole atmospheres, the sea and local markets.
The collections are offered as one-of-a-kind pieces and small series, designed to be beautiful, durable and practical for everyday use.
A distinctive signature and unique craftsmanship
Each creation goes through several stages: throwing or hand-building, drying, first firing, hand painting, glazing, second firing. Subtle nuances, small irregularities and color variations are the charm of artisanal making: your piece is truly unique, with neat finishes and the artist’s signature from the studio.
You’ll find:
• Tableware: plates, serving dishes, bowls, cups and mugs
• Decoration: small wall pieces, catch-all trays, mini portraits
• Limited editions and custom orders—why not with a familiar face?
For whom?
• Perfect gifts (birthday, holiday home, new baby)
• Cheerful everyday tableware (dishwasher and microwave safe)
• Collectors who enjoy mixing and matching characters with the seasons
