Les Fonds blancs avec Gérald

It's all about conviviality, sharing and ecotourism. Learn, have fun, swim! That's what Gerald wants to pass on on his boat, the "Prestig'g".

The captain:
Gerald is one of those captains you meet on a trip and who leave you with indelible memories.
He's a genuine and engaging man, with a rather atypical background. He started out as a fisherman. He holds a Captain's 200 and a Fishing Captain's Licence, and also has a Master's degree in Environment and Regional Planning.

His trips are all about ecotourism:
Gérald shares his love of nature and the environment with equally curious and enthusiastic visitors aboard the Prestig'g, sharing his knowledge of ecosystems, flora and fauna, as well as coastal biotopes and underwater ecosystems unique to Martinique.

He offers a range of small-company packages departing from the marina in Le François. Off the beaten track, you'll discover the wonders of the Atlantic coastline, and be taken to places and seabeds that have been preserved, where peace and tranquillity reign. Depending on the itinerary: observation of fish, molluscs, crustaceans, endemic iguanas and starfish, discovery of the mangrove swamps, marine trails and ilets.

The boat :
Prestig'g by Excess Marine is the ideal boat for exploring the Fonds Blancs, which are inaccessible to larger boats. With a capacity of 12 people, it offers you all the comfort and modernity you need to navigate more quickly between the different points and to enjoy the white seabed and other sites of Le François for longer.
