The Atelier des Sens at Habitation Clément in Le François offers an experience dedicated to the aromas and tasting of Clément rums. This space provides a unique way to discover the world of Martinique’s agricultural rum through a sensory, accessible and welcoming approach.

At the tasting counter, visitors learn to recognise the different types of rum: white rum, aged rum, VSOP, punches and liqueurs. The aromas, woody, fruity or spicy notes, as well as the effects of ageing, are presented in a simple and informative way. The Atelier des Sens complements the tour of the old distillery and cellars, but with a different focus: here, the experience centres on sensations, tasting and the pleasure of choosing a rum to suit one’s tastes. The adjoining shop offers a selection of Clément rums as well as delicatessen products, chocolates, jams, liqueurs, fragrances, local handicrafts, books and souvenirs. It is an ideal stop to extend your visit or take home a product emblematic of Martinique. Clément rums also won awards at the 2026 Paris International Agricultural Show, securing several medals for their white and aged rums. These accolades underscore the brand’s expertise and the quality of its vintages.
