When you visit the Village de la Poterie in Trois-Îlets, there's a boutique selling Caribbean crafts and designers that's a must-see: "La Caverne".
Nestling on the ground floor of one of the oldest houses in the Village de la Poterie - formerly the post office - Julie and Marine have opened their shop with a focus on Caribbean designers and craftspeople.
They wanted a shop that was off the beaten track, far from the standard souvenir shops that can be found on the island (which are often identical). The architecture of the building alone is a trip down memory lane.
