Starting point: Château Paille district, Parking of UCPA centre

A small and varied seaside promenade: savannah, mangrove, beach, dry forest, fishing village with a breathtaking view of the Vauclin bays. -
From the UCPA car park, take the road on the right for 150m, then go down the dirt track on the right (1). Go along the beach of Anse Simon, climb the stairs. At the intersection, go straight on along the seafront (2). The path runs alongside the houses before climbing into the dry forest, then descending towards the sea. Cross the fishing village of Anse Maroquet (3). You can observe traditional fishing techniques.
Take the road on the left, take the path on the right (4) for 30m then turn...From the UCPA car park, take the road on the right for 150m, then go down the dirt track on the right (1). Go along the beach of Anse Simon, climb the stairs. At the intersection, go straight on along the seafront (2). The path runs alongside the houses before climbing into the dry forest, then descending towards the sea. Cross the fishing village of Anse Maroquet (3). You can observe traditional fishing techniques.
Take the road on the left, take the path on the right (4) for 30m then turn left on the path that goes up (5). Go along the beach of Anse Maroquet (6), then continue in the dry forest for 600m.
At the crossroads, take the path on the right (7), go down and cross a cactus forest which arrives at the pointe du Vauclin (8).
Return to the intersection (7) and take the path on the right. You will pass a magnificent viewpoint over the bay of Vauclin and the mangrove of Trou Cochon (9). At the mangrove sign, turn right (10) and walk along it until you reach the mangrove of Trou Cochon (11).
Go back and continue on the path towards Château-Paille for 1.5km (12).
Turn right onto the concrete road (13) and walk along the field. At the banana shed, at the intersection, take the road on the left (14), then find the intersection of the first part (2), take on the right and come back to the parking.
