Located in Sainte-Marie, in northern Martinique, La Bananeraie restaurant welcomes you to the heart of the Banana Museum site. In a pleasant tropical setting, this original restaurant showcases the island's iconic fruit: the banana. You can have lunch here after visiting the museum and tropical park, or simply stop by for a drink, an ice cream or to enjoy the shaded terrace from 11am onwards.

Original Creole cuisine based on bananas: The chef offers Creole cuisine made from fresh, local produce. The menu changes regularly depending on market availability and the seasons. What makes this restaurant special? Bananas are used in many dishes, both savoury and sweet. This original approach makes La Bananeraie one of the most unusual restaurants in Sainte-Marie. Depending on the recipe, bananas are served: • fried • au gratin • in a velouté soup • in a mousseline sauce • puréed • on a skewer • or flambéed for dessert.
