  • L'Ilet à Toiroux or Poirier is located on the Atlantic coast. It rises to 8 m above sea level.

  • It is part of the National Islet Reserve of Sainte-Anne. It is uninhabited. It is an islet protected due to the presence of birds. Several bird species are present: the Tail Straw or Red-billed Phaeton (Phaeton aetherus), the Bridled Tern (Sterna anaethetus), the Sooty Tern (Sterna fuscata), the Brown Noddy (Anous stolidus), the Blackbird Quiscale (quiscale lugubris). It has steep cliffs, basins and kamenitzas ideal for breeding.
