  • Petit Îlet is located in the Baie de Génipa, near the mouth of the Rivière Salée.

  • This islet, approximately 100 m long and 80 m wide, belongs to the State. The islet is now uninhabited, except by a few roosters and wild hens.

    You can dock there because it has a pontoon and is equipped with a gazebo and picnic tables.
    There are remains of the presence of the Caribbean Indians: cups (small basins) carved into the volcanic rock.

    It is possible to visit it, it is easily accessible by boat or kayak. Excursion companies offering to go there for a ride and discover the bay...
