Today:
Under the watchful eye of the cellar master, HSE rums age gracefully in nine different aging cellars on site. With its exceptional mastery of barrel aging, HSE crafts a wide range of prestigious old rums, highly prized by connoisseurs and frequently awarded in international competitions.
A Few Clues to Appreciate the Unique Character of HSE Rums…
By selecting its vintages based on proprietary aromatic criteria and creating its own aging and maturation models, HSE has chosen to experiment. To innovate. To explore new possibilities. And to become a true creator of rum.
HSE White Rums:
HSE was the first to give its white rums the gift of time—time to rest, to breathe, to be slowly reduced and carefully blended. This extended maturation reveals and enhances their aromatic richness. The result: rare, prestigious, limited-edition cuvées found nowhere else in the world. The first of these? The now-sold-out "Cuvée de l’An 2000."
HSE Aged Rums:
At HSE, aging is elevated to an art form. Over a minimum of three years, the rum matures in a variety of barrels, slowly acquiring deep, complex aromas. The result is a range of refined, exclusive creations: signed and numbered vintage bottles, single casks, and more.
"Finitions du Monde" – World Finishes:
HSE “Finitions du Monde” collection showcases aged rums that undergo an additional maturation in small barrels previously used for other premium spirits—such as Port, Sauternes, or Whisky. This final step, known as the “finish,” infuses the rum with subtle notes of the previous spirit.
Among the latest additions to the collection: Château Marquis de Terme Finish and the recently released VSOP Port Cask Finish.
