Habitation Belfort (Visit by train)

Convenient, fun and original, it allows you to explore the 65 hectares of the farm and makes visits possible even in rainy weather.

During the guided tour, you will learn the secrets of producing the most eaten fruit in the world. From planting to growing, to the different operations on the bunches, to cutting, de-picking, washing... to packaging. You will discover many varieties of banana trees along the way. It is also an area rich in flowers: porcelain roses, heliconias, alpinias, flamboyants and fruit trees, guava trees, breadfruit trees, mango trees...

The visit ends with a tasting of innovative local products. You will enjoy a heritage experience with your family or group in an exceptional setting. A visit not to be missed. Visits last between 50 minutes and 1h15.

Certified organic farming:
The Habitation Belfort is certified Organic Agriculture since December 2019, a certification based on the preservation of soil, air, water and biodiversity quality. Since 21 February 2020, it has obtained the ZRP (zero pesticide residue) label.

The Domaine de Belfort is also :
- A unique place " Les Jardins de Belfort ", for a reception, a conference, a wedding...
- A restaurant " L'Ephémère " open every Thursday, L'Ephémère Drive to take away or to deliver (see section " Where to eat ")
- A shop (online) where products made from fruit and vegetables are produced under the brand name "CARIB FRUITS".

Prices for the tour of the farm in a small train with a tasting of local products:
- Adults 14 €.
- Children (from 4 to 12 years old) 6 €.
- Family (2 adults + 2 children) € 35
- Children's groups (from 20 children aged 3 to 12), fun and educational visit: 5€.
