The Gaoulé house, listed as a historic monument in 1988, was built in the 16th century.

It is known because it was the headquarters of a rebellion of the cane planting settlers against the "Governor of Martinique" of the time in 1717.
Closed to the public, you can see the outside.
The additional inventory of historical monuments includes the façades and roofs as well as the ruins of the mill.
To get there, in the O'Mullane district, if you come from the village, turn right 30 metres after the last speed bump. Take a dented dirt track and there is no sign.
