Continue on the path that runs along the Anse Noire ravine, which will be crossed several times. On this section, the path is all downhill and ends at the Anse Noire beach (1). Take the time to enjoy the exceptional setting of this wild volcanic sand beach.

Take a long staircase that will take you up a hill, near a stele erected in memory of Alexandre Stellio, a great local musician from Martinique, and then go down to the Anse Dufour (2). At the bottom of the stairs, go left on a small path that passes very close to the houses of the village.
You are at the foot of the Morne Réduit and you are leaving for a long ascent mostly exposed to the sun. Reduce the pace and above all take the time to stop and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view over the bay of Fort de France. A little further on, the slope becomes gentler and you will start the descent towards Grande Anse.

At the junction (3), take the track on the right and continue through the forest for 1 km where you will meet many mahoganys and red gum trees. Go down a few steps and at the junction (4), take the track on the right towards Cap Salomon where you will discover the ruins of a military battery (5).

Return to the intersection and go straight down into the dry forest. Cross the mangrove and you will come across information panels about the five buoys that make up the underwater marine biodiversity discovery trail (6).
Continue straight ahead and climb the wooden stairs that lead up to the car park of the allée des Raisiniers in Grande Anse.
