In this 25-hectare park dedicated to Martinique's biodiversity, nature is left as it is, without embellishment, in order to observe it in its simplest form, beautiful and mysterious.

Several times and spaces of visit are proposed to the visitors, among the alleys lined with ornamental plants, the basin with water jet at the entrance of the park and the numerous carbets inviting to make a stop in the shade.
First of all, there are four kilometers of educational trails through the tropical rainforest that allow visitors to become familiar with the main species representative of this environment. Three trails crisscross the rainforest that occupies nearly 80% of the estate. (see "Hiking" sheet) You can walk through the banana trees, mahoganies, balisiers, tree ferns and flamboyants. Along the walk, designed for families, you will come across about a hundred botanical species typical of Martinique.
Listen carefully: you will surely hear the melodious song of the Mornes whistler, an endemic bird of the Lesser Antilles.
Look up: in the distance, you will see sublime views of Mount Pelée.
Then head to the Garden of Origins, which houses more than 300 plants and spices used in Creole cuisine and traditional Caribbean pharmacopoeia: roucou, cocoa, tinin, basil, mint, cinnamon, coffee, atoumo, plum of Kythera ... In this area, the objective is to educate visitors about the cultural traditions of Martinique. A Creole house has been reconstructed with its subsistence garden made up of plants for food and medicine in the immediate vicinity of the living space.
We then move on to the collection of plants under shade. One of the experimental greenhouses houses a hybrid species of anthurium, developed to resist parasites and diseases. The visit continues with the ornamental plants (porcelain rose, breadfruit, cordyline, Indian reed, Malaysian queen...). You can admire some very beautiful trees and palms inherited from the past, including a beautiful group of pinots.
