A trip to Domaine d'Émeraude is an experience for the senses.
As you gaze up at Montagne Pelée, barely concealed between the clouds, and listen to the mornes whistler lurking in the rainforest, time seems to stand still. The rugged terrain has been softened, giving way to carefully landscaped areas. The journey of discovery is punctuated by fun and rewarding stops.

The landscaped forest
Nearly 4km of walking trails accessible to young and old alike have been created. There are three routes through the forest, which is home to over a hundred native species.

The Nature Exploration Pavilion
Educational, instructive and great fun, this exploration pavilion is first and foremost a place where visitors can learn about Martinique's natural history. Vegetation, soil formation, fruit and vegetables, mangroves... the island's entire natural landscape is presented alongside quotes, proverbs and other regional poetry. Ingeniously structured, this interactive area can be used as an introduction or a beautifully illustrated conclusion to a visit to the Domaine d'Emeraude.
