Creole restaurant in Sainte-Anne | Chez Gracieuse

Looking for an authentic Creole restaurant in Martinique? Chez Gracieuse is a family-run institution in Sainte-Anne, just off Anse Michel beach and opposite the boarding pier at Cap Chevalier islet.

This seaside restaurant has been run for several generations by Gracieuse, Garcin and their family, fishermen from father to son, who give pride of place to seafood and Creole specialities.
Here, the home cooking is generous and tasty, inspired by traditional West Indian recipes. The atmosphere is friendly, musical and warm.

This restaurant, located on the seafront, opposite the Cap Chevalier islet, has been run by the Doré family for several generations. Gracieuse, Garcin and his team, from a family of fishermen from father to son, invite you to taste their West Indian specialities. This restaurant, faithful to traditions, is well known by tourists and Martiniqueans.

- Colombo menu: Creole plate (accras and black pudding), chicken or goat colombo with rice, red beans, local vegetables... and a homemade dessert
- Fish menu: Creole plate (accras and black pudding), grilled fish of the day, rice, red beans, local vegetables... and a homemade dessert
- Lobster menu on reservation
- Gracieuse platter: accras, black pudding, stuffed crab, crayfish, ½ lobster, rice, red beans, local vegetables... and homemade dessert

Their specialities:
- Fierce avocado (depending on the season)
- Lobster in coconut milk
- Fricassee of catrou
- Lambi in fricassee
- Banana flambé
- Eaten white meat or coconut flan

Little extras:
- You can order your lunch and take it away. Ideal for your days on the Islet Chevalier or combine it with the Taxi-Cap excursions, or take your order directly to the Islet.

- Chez Gracieuse restaurant also offers special meals for birthdays, baptisms, weddings, business meetings...

- Tours, excursions and shuttle services are available by boat and yawl from Taxi Cap, the reception is right in front of the restaurant.

- Garcin is inexhaustible about cockfights... If you meet him, he will talk to you with passion about his Gallinaceans.
