The itinerary starts at the base of Spoutourne and follows the road, passing a small bridge and then a ford. In front of the entrance to the Blin house, the path turns left and then right. You arrive at the end of the dirt road and it is the beginning of the track that goes to the beach.
Continue on the path, do not take the junctions that go to the right towards the beach. Then the path climbs up a hill, then goes down again to continue overlooking the beach. Further on, you can see the remains of an old sugar factory on the side of the road, you are at Gros Raisin Bay.
Take the backshore track that passes near a pond before returning to an undergrowth. Continue on the path which goes up on a small hill and down to Granjean Bay. This wetland is sometimes invaded by the sea, which softens the soil, making it difficult to progress. Continue at the bottom of the beach, you will arrive next to the remains of a lime kiln.
At this point, the road turns left and goes up towards Morne Pavillon. On this trail, you can see onion-skin volcanic bombs. The slope is steep and the sunshine quite intense, but it is almost the end because, at the end of the path, there is a sign indicating "Chemin en Bois". This is the end of your hike.
