After about ten minutes, you will arrive at the beach of Anse Mathurin (2). Once you have passed the fishermen's huts, take the path that goes up on the left. There are several viewpoints on the Ramier islet (3). This islet was a strategic military point to defend the bay of Fort-de-France with the construction of a fort in the 18th century.

You then arrive at Anse Bellay (4), a place steeped in history, where archaeological excavations have uncovered pre-Columbian remains dating from the 10th century. But also a slave cemetery, a plaque has been placed there to pay homage to them, the area has been delimited by conches.

Continue along the coast, you will come to a junction (5), take a small right turn to the lime kiln, or continue on the left towards Anse Noire. At a crow's foot, turn right towards a silk-cotton tree with impressive buttresses (6).
Continue along the path and watch out for a hairpin entrance on your right, marked with green (7), which leads to Anse Noire, and if you go straight on you will reach Gallochat. Then go down to the beach of Anse Noire (8).
