Description

Catamaran dolphin-watching trip with Aliotis in Martinique Set off for a day at sea with Aliotis Martinique, departing from Grande Anse in Les Anses-d’Arlet. Aboard a Lagoon 421 catamaran, this trip combines dolphin and other cetacean watching, lunch on board, swimming and snorkelling. This trip is ideal for couples, families and groups looking to explore Martinique’s Caribbean coast in a friendly atmosphere. Scuba diving can also be added as an optional extra.

Dolphin watching in the Agoa Sanctuary The morning is devoted to searching for and observing the marine mammals found in the waters around Martinique and in the Agoa Sanctuary. Depending on the season, you may spot: • pantropical spotted dolphins • Fraser’s dolphins • pilot whales • sperm whales • humpback whales during their migration period

Laurent, the captain and a qualified instructor, shares his knowledge about the species encountered, their behaviour and their environment. Identification guides are also available on board. Dolphins, whales and other cetaceans roam freely in their natural habitat. Their presence and sightings can therefore never be guaranteed.

Lunch, swimming and snorkelling After sailing, the catamaran heads for an anchorage ideal for relaxing and exploring the seabed. You can go for a swim, go snorkelling and observe tropical fish, sponges, corals and, occasionally, sea turtles. All the necessary equipment is provided: • masks • snorkels • flippers • swimming trunks

The day also includes a welcome with coffee and pastries, lunch served on board, drinks and a snack at the end of the trip.

An optional dive Participants who wish to do so can round off their excursion with an introductory scuba dive. Certified divers may also request an exploratory dive suited to their level and the conditions on the day. Diving is entirely optional. You can enjoy the boat trip, lunch, swimming and snorkelling without taking part in any dives.
