Your day From Pointe la Rose Sud in Le Robert: sailing is a breeze, leaving you free to explore and enjoy the open water. Le Robert Bay offers peaceful sailing, dotted with islets and unspoilt natural landscapes. As you sail along the mangrove forest, you’ll reach Îlet Madame, Îlet la Grotte, and then Îlet Chancel. Once there, nature takes centre stage: endemic iguanas roaming freely, the remains of an old sugar mill, a majestic fig tree and beaches fringed with white sands and clear waters.
Îlet Madame is also a great spot for a lunch break, thanks to its designated areas overlooking the sea. Depending on your preferences, the trip can also take you to François Bay. Sailing along the coast and through the mangrove forest, you’ll reach Oscar Islet, Thierry Islet, and then the famous‘Joséphine’s Bathtub’. The waters here are shallow and crystal-clear, ideal for a swim or a moment of relaxation before setting sail again.
The day unfolds at your own pace, with a combination of leisurely sailing, stops at the islets and breaks for a swim. Should you need it, assistance is always on hand – discreet and reassuring. In the late afternoon, the return journey is a gentle one, leaving you with the feeling of having made the most of the lagoon and its scenery.
