Description
Fishing zone in the commune of Pécheur in Martinique. Part of ZPR 2, the Exclusive Fishing Zone (ZPE) covers an area of 32.2 ha and is bounded to the north by the Marry ravine and to the south by Anse Belleville, including the cliffs.
Rules to be observed in this zone
What is prohibited?
- All forms of recreational and professional fishing
- Underwater hunting
- Anchoring and mooring (subject to the future installation of ecological moorings and dedicated mooring buoys).
What is permitted?
- scuba diving in a club or under authorisation
- exclusively professional fishing, using surface nets and traps with a mesh size ≥ 38 mm, during periods set by the CTM.

- Bird nesting area on the cliffs to the north of Anse Belleville, with colonies of Yellow-billed Tropicbird and White-bellied Swallow.
