Take a seat on Maison La Mauny’s red Ti Train and set off on a one-hour guided tour through the heart of a working distillery in Martinique. With open-air carriages, commentary from the guide and views of the sugarcane fields, this is a unique experience suitable for everyone – perfect for families, friends or couples.
Open all year round, this distillery offers guided tours at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
Tours are available all year round, from Monday to Saturday. The sugar-making season generally runs from January to July – during this period, the site is in full production and the tour takes on an extra dimension. Outside the season, the tour remains available and is just as informative.
The tour, step by step
The Ti Train travels across the entire estate, stopping at each key point:
• The sugarcane fields and the citrus orchard
• The cane yard, the logistical heart of the harvest
• The crushing and fermentation facilities
• The Creole stills, where rum is born
• The ageing cellars, where the casks rest
• The Rum Hut, the tour’s final stop
2026 Prices: Adults: €8 · Children (4–12 years): €4 · Free for under-4s.
The Cabane à Rhum remains freely accessible, even without booking a guided tour.
TIP: When booking, please mention that you are coming via Martinique Tour.
After the tour
Extend the experience at the Creole restaurant Kay Mimi, located at the foot of the distillery, near the cane yard. Open Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 3 pm.
- Throughout the year, events are organised on the estate: cocktail masterclasses, food pairing workshops, themed tastings. Find the upcoming dates on the Martinique Tour calendar.
