A day at Parkadonf with the kids

Are you looking for activities for your little ones in complete safety? Want to organize a birthday party for them with their buddies? Are you on vacation in Martinique and your young children have want to have fun ? Come and discover the parc familial de loisirs Parkadonf, on the Diam’Arlet estate, between Diamant and Anses d’Arlet. For 2 hours or the whole day, the site offers in a natural setting many attractions: inflatable cakes, net areas, trampolines, pedal go-karts, table soccer, ping pong, kayaking, pedal boats… No need to book! You pay the entrance fee and all activities are accessible!

Today I accompanied my little nephews on a birthday day out and they BELOVED!!

The estate is vast and reserves rest areas, restaurants, shaded carbets for adults who came to accompany their children, as I did. I brought along a book, just in case, but in the end between the stroll to discover the estate, the lunch break and the time spent watching them have fun and photographing them, I didn’t see the hours go by!”

Inflatable games

This is one of the kids’ favorite activities. There are inflatable cakes of all sizes and for all tastes (from 5 to 19 meters long for some), with giant toboggan, for the little ones, climbing towers, sliding zones… A great time of excitement and letting off steam… You’ll be surprised by your toddlers’ energy!

Acrobatic games

The bigger and bolder kids love the net and trampoline activities, the Tarzan-like creeper, a monkey bridge and various climbing courses. Perfect for budding little Robinsons like my two nephews, they loved it!

Pedal go-kart tracks, sleds, 4-wheel bikes and scooters

Free-flowing or in small challenges, little fans of gliding and mechanics have a blast together. On birthdays like today, kids get together to measure themselves while having fun!

Play equipment for the very young

Toddlers are not forgotten, with a play area reserved for them: cabin, swings, slides, scooter…

Activities on the water

I let my nephews have a go-kart race, well taken care of and supervised, and go explore the other part of the estate, towards the pond.

Move on to the water activities! On the large stretch of water, children can enjoy kayaking and pedalo ( with hands!). Equipped with life jackets, they are under the responsibility of an adult companion in addition to the lifeguard, who is there to guarantee their safety. Even if swimming is forbidden, both activities are a big hit, especially in the afternoon when you need a bit of fresh air!

Spaces for reception and breakfast.

As I told you when we arrived, there are plenty of shady places to rest: tables, chairs, benches, carbets. Parents love it, and kids come along for a “hydration” break after jumping around like crazy in the bouncy castles!

At lunchtime, you’ll find everything you need for a snacking lunch at Parkadonf: pizzas, hot dogs, chips, popcorn, ice creams, doughnuts, cold drinks… Just remember to book when you arrive, so you’re sure to get the pizza of your choice. If you prefer to bring your own picnic, an area has been set up outside the Parkadonf compound. You’ll be given a receipt to return to the park.

As for me, I’m joining my nephews as their boyfriend is about to blow out his birthday candles. It’s really a great idea to keep in mind if you want to organize a fun birthday party for your kids, they love it!

Special Birthday

Parkadonf offers birthday packages that include invitation cards, access to the park, a reserved area, juice, water, pizza, chips, popcorn, candy, a cake and its sparkling juice for 6 children minimum. Two formulas are available: day (10am-4pm) or 2 hours (2pm-4pm). Access to the games is permitted until closing time at 5pm.

End the day in the moss!

At the end of the day, around 4pm, the team set off the foam cannons, provoking the joy and excitement of all the children present – my nephews first! And here they all are, throwing themselves into the foam, laughing. Thank goodness we brought towels and a change of clothes.

“Thanks auntie we had SO much fun, it was SO good, we made lots of new friends!“. The verdict was clear: “Can we come back next week, dis?“

Frankly, the kids have a great time, the parents can stay by paying the accompanying rate, play a few games of ping-pong and table football and even climb into some of the inflatables, provided you’re in socks like everyone else!

What you need to know

Socks required for access to structures.
Please bring a sports casual outfit, a towel, one or more changes of clothes for everyone and a swim suit (there is no swimming area but children can get wet).
The park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday outside school vacations, and 7 days a week during school vacations and public holidays.
Bouncy castles such as “the unicorn”, “the dino”, “the mini candy”, “the mini hippo” and foam cannons are available for rental, delivered and set up at your home for your birthdays and private parties.
